Members have reported concerns to the ADA regarding claim denials for scaling and root planing submissions (D4341 and D4342). Ther has also been frustration over the need for substantial documentation to adjudicate claims.

In this webinar you will hear from a consultant from a major dental plan who will discuss:

  • Claims submission expectations
  • The dental consultant’s responsibilities for SRP claim submissions
  • Why information and documentation is necessary
  • The importance of submitting radiographs that are of diagnostic quality and narrative descriptions that are clear and legible.

Two representatives from the ADA's Council on Dental Benefit Programs will share their reactions to these requirements and present ADA views, aligning with best practices and policies adopted by the ADA's House of Delegates.
